Draft SDFL federal indictment of Jeffrey Epstein and others, prepared by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida as part of Operation Leap Year. The draft is the 53-page indictment referenced in Judge Marra's 2019 CVRA opinion at p. 2 ("By May of 2007, the Office had drafted an 82-page prosecution memorandum and a 53-page indictment..."). It is captioned in the Southern District of Florida and names as defendants JEFFREY EPSTEIN, JEGE, INC., and HYPERION AIR, INC., plus three Epstein employees identified by role (names redacted in the indexed version). The statute headers on the title page list 7 federal offense categories: 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 2422(b), 2423(b), 2423(d), 2423(e), 1591(a)(1), and 1591(a)(2). Was never presented to a grand jury; JEGE, Inc. and Hyperion Air, Inc. were removed at Matt Menchel's request by September 13, 2007, before the NPA was signed.
